BibleWorks 9 is upon us!

I thought folks might be interested to know BibleWorks 9 is now available. I reviewed BibleWorks 8 last year and cannot speak highly enough of the program. If you are looking for an exegetical language based resource then BW9 will serve you well. Personally I tend to use Logos 4 more because I have invested so much into the program and did so before trying BW8. Logos 4 is a digital library system which also does languages but it is ridiculously resource heavy. BW9 is a language tool with some library capabilities.
Both are great programs. BibleWorks 9 also includes some great new features including more tabs and more language and text tools. Having said that. I must admit the user interface still looks a little old for my liking. I was kind of hoping for an entire rebuild to match Logos 4. I guess the basic design works in its favour when it comes to speed and ease of use. Check it out you will not be disappointed!
Where Do You Study?
Today I am going to Berkeley to my favorite library: The Flora Hewlett Library of the Graduate Theological Union (GTU). I have the opportunity to go there once to three times a month. This will likely be my last trip before I move to Portland, OR, in August.
This library is my favorite place to study. I study at home, at my seminary’s library, and at coffee shops more than I study there, but I like it better. It is three stories of books and journals all dedicated to biblical literature/theological studies. It is amazing!
Where do you like to study or where is your favorite place to go to study?
Flora Lamson Hewlett Library in Berkeley, CA
Today I am going to Berkeley to the Graduate Theological Union’s Flora Lamson Hewlett Library. I have heard that this library is the largest library dedicated to theological literature, west of the Mississippi. Every time I visit I have a great time exploring the three stories worth of journals, commentaries, and books.
What is the best theological library, or library with a good theology section, nearest you? Or is there a library that you have visited that you would boast to be the greatest for theological studies?
