Near Emmaus

Da Vinci is always near Jesus’ wife.

There has been a lot of talk over the last week and a half about the Gospel of Jesus’ Wife and therefore about the possibility that Jesus might have been married. When was the last time so many people found themselves discussing this subject. I would venture to say that it was around the time that Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code was rapidly becoming a best seller on its way to becoming a movie.

Well, go figure, Da Vinci is back in the news!

The Mona Lisa Foundation claims to have possession of a version of the famous painting created by Da Vinci about ten years prior to the one located in the Louvre.

Coincidence?

Yes, of course. But fun and odd none the less!

You can read more about the pre-Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa and watch a video here.

Also, Time Magazine has posted their interview with Karen L. King.

  1. Maybe Jesus had more than one wife as was the norm then. Just something to think about, considering the fact that ‘traditional’ marriage is a relatively new thing.
