Archaeological evidence for the cult of King David’s era?

Professor Garfinkel

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem announced that Prof. Yosef Garfinkel has discovered “…objects that for the first time shed light on how a cult was organized in Judah at the time of King David.” You can read the press release here.

I will be watching the ASOR Blog to see what people far more trained in archaeology than me have to say in response.
