As it was in California (see this post here) so it is in Oregon: I couldn’t have completed my Th.M. program without the support of many people affiliated with Western Seminary. I mentioned a few professors over the last few days–those with whom I spent the most time. I should add that others like Dr. Gerry Breshears and Dr. J. Carl Laney were wonderful in the time I spent studying with them. Since I have been an employee of the seminary I have met most everyone on the faculty and staff (save adjuncts). This means I owe a “thank you” to co-workers such as Krista Cain, Keane Collins, Carly Aguilar, Mark Baker, Mitra Motlagh, Kristin Gibb, Julia Seal, Rob Wiggins, Ashley Mitchell, Shellie Riehl, Ken Epp, Jim Stewart, Jon Raibley, Bethany Dudenhofer, Sandy Foster, Shanita Gills, Helen York, Greg Moon, Larry McCracken, Chad Hall, Michelle Workman, P.J. Oswald, Tony Cruz, Nate Cozington and others. I would like to extend that “thank you” to President Randy Roberts for his faithful guidance of the entire institution. I am sure there are others who I am overlooking.
These people have spent many days as my co-worker and assisting me as a student. That is not an easy job folks!

Books … well I have some lost in the boxes of my move but there are two classic articles that I have found to set the mind a dancing: (1)”The Historical Roots of Our Ecological Crisis” the 1967 article ,.. not the later ones http://www.uvm.edu/~gflomenh/ENV-NGO-PA395/articles/Lynn-White.pdf and (2) It is archived lost in a box for a post later…it is an answer to Lynn White Jr.’s somewhat accurate but then beyond the borders criticism
