  1. It does make me smile: they misspelled whatsoever… :p

  2. Wow!…What a misrepresentation of Physics AND Logic! I don’t know of anyone that thinks this way..Do you? Or do you just THINK you do? What does Physics have to do with Atheism? That “nothing from nothing” idea isn’t in any way a tenet of Physics…What you have here is a Straw Man argument, where YOU make up a definition and apply it whether it makes sense or not. It’s not logic OR rational…Big fail!

  3. @ William and @ Brent : Did you ignore the category “Humor” under which this is filed? Did you not read my comment that this should make even an atheist smile. Smile and relax my friends.

  4. Humor? That seems a bit disingenuous. Why would an atheist find it amusing to be snarkily misrepresented under the false guise of humor?

  5. The best humor is based on truth. Satire that doesn’t represent the target at all isn’t funny. It’s either misinformed or ignorant or mean-spirited (or some combination of the three). Would you think it was funny if I did a satire about how Christian doctrine is based on human sacrifice, cannibalism, and rape?

    (Oh… wait…)

  6. (See? That was satire based on truth… and damn funny, if you ask me.)

  7. William: Did you make that comparison with a serious face? If it had said something about atheist being immoral because they have no grounds for morality, therefore they are represented well by a murderer like Stalin, then that would have been similar. But this isn’t even remotely the same thing and you know it! It is the equivalent to saying something silly about Christians believing in some big cosmic figure who dictates everything by speaking it into existence. It is not about first principles, but morals. This goofy little picture doesn’t say anything slanderous again atheist as people nor does it offend toward anything sacred in your worldview (if it did, that would be a bit ironic).

Your an atheist so I assume you are a thinking person. Think about your comparisons before arguing for the absurd.

  9. I thought atheists believed there was always “something” rather than “nothing,” even before the Big Bang.

Also, atheists don’t believe in absolute randomness, since there’s no way for randomness to remain absolutely random with no duplication or arising of uniformity in places.

  10. …and apparently many atheists have no sense of humor.
