I have the iPhone app but I can’t figure out how to get this.

Brian, I assume you have already downloaded the Logos software right? Once you have done that you should be able to go to “Library” and select “The Greek New Testament: SBL Edition”. At least that is how it works with the iPad. But it is not available offline, so you need a 3G or WiFi connection to use it. There is also an “Apparatus for the Greek New Testament: SBL Edition” that is very useful.

Brain, I just went to the Logos website, and purchased it for free the SBLGNT and now I can download it to my iPad.

I don’t have Logos 4. Is that a hindrance?

Brian, sorry!
I’m on vacation, but with no money
So I’m just hanging out at home and was playing Halo Reach with my son LOL
Just download the Logos app from the iPhone App store, it should be free. Then from there you should be able to download the SBLGNT.

Oh by the way I’ve been on vacation all week, and will also be on vacation all of next week. I need to use my remaining 9 days and this was the only time available, it was either use it or lose it. I’ll be working on my Romans and 1 Corinthians papers. Hopefully I won’t goof off and get them done. Then I can concentrate on my Old Testament course, and move on to my Synoptic Gospel reading. I have to turn in all of my papers by Jan 2011, I can get on extension till May 2011, but I don’t want to have to do that. But nice to know it’s there

Brian, were you able to download Logos to your iPhone? It is free and you can access a few bibles as well. I found this link that might be useful: http://www.logos.com/mobile/iphone

I have downloaded it but I don’t see anything for the SBLGNT.

Ok, so go to the Logos website (create an account if you haven’t yet), purchase the SBLGNT (it’s free), then you should be to logon to your logos app, and have access to it.
It’s also available for free on Olive Tree if you have that, might be easier.
November 15, 2010 at 11:38 am
Ok, great, I’ll do that soon. How long is it free, do you know?
November 15, 2010 at 11:41 am
No clue, but I would get it as soon as possible. They are expensive on Olive Tree, and Logos. I have been wanting a good critical Greek text for my future studies later this year and everyone that I have priced digitally was not cheap. So this is great, and the dean at my school said it is an acceptable option.
