Human Trafficking Story – Part 2

Last Sunday, I mentioned my classmate Sarah Warnock’s post on sex-slavery in the US. That was first part. She has now posted the second part and presents some question-reflections:

How can families protect their children from being abducted? How can teachers and child care professionals become aware of predators and victimized children? How can someone like me, a single, childless student of theories about God and religion do anything but cry out to my God asking, “WHY!?!”

These are good places to begin.

  1. Human trafficking can be so defeating. It seems so big, so well-organized. I hope that we can match that with organizations combating this horrible trade.

    Yes, it almost feels hopeless sometimes. If everyone makes some effort, we will see some change.
