George Fox Evanglical Seminary is not solely an academics-focused institution; it is a place where people come to be equipped for the work of the gospel. Every year, GFES hosts The Ministry in Contemporary Culture Seminar Series.
This year, Scot McKnight, author of the popular The Jesus Creed and a well-regarded historical Jesus scholar, will be the feature for this year’s Ministry Seminar. Three sessions are scheduled:
- The Gospel for Evangelicals
- The Gospel for Paul
- The Gospel for Jesus
The event will take place Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The event will be held at George Fox Evangelical Seminary, 12753 SW 68th Ave., Portland, OR 97223 (directions via Google maps here).
More information and registration can be found at seminars.georgefox.edu.

That should be a great event. You’ll need to take notes and share those on the blog with us!

Scott: If I had the space cash, I would.
Brian: If I get the chance to go. I’m so swamped with other things.
